Na recente hoogtepunten zoals samenwerkingen met de Los Angeles Philharmonic, Chicago Symphony, Pittsburgh Symphony, Boston Symphony en London Symphony, werkt Lukáš Vondráček in het seizoen 2022/23 samen met gerenommeerde orkesten zoals het Cleveland Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestre National de Lille, West Australian Symphony Orchestra en Dresden Philharmonic Orchestra. Hij keert ook terug naar langetermijnpartners zoals het Symfonieorkest van Praag, het Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Janáček Philharmonic, Antwerp Symphony Orchestra, Brussels Philharmonic en het Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liège. Recital engagementen leiden hem naar het Festival van Vlaanderen, Flagey in Brussel voor hun Piano Days Festival en naar Luzern’s KKL als onderdeel van het “Le Piano Symphonique” Festival voordat het seizoen wordt afgesloten met optredens samen met het Ensemble 1704 op het “Chopin en zijn Europa” Festival in Warschau.
De afgelopen tien jaar heeft Lukáš Vondráček de wereld rondgereisd en gewerkt met orkesten als het Philadelphia en Sydney Symphony orkest, Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra, Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonia Orchestra, Oslo Philharmonic en het Weens Symfonieorkest onder dirigenten als Paavo Järvi, Michael Tilson Thomas, Gianandrea Noseda, Yannick Nézet-Séguin, Marin Alsop, Vasily Petrenko, Jakub Hrůša, Giancarlo Guerrero, Stéphane Denève en Elim Chan.
Recitals brachten hem naar Hamburgs Elbphilharmonie, de Flagey in Brussel, Leipzigs Gewandhaus, Wiener Konzerthaus, het Concertgebouw in Amsterdam en naar gerenommeerde festivals als Edinburgh International Festival, Menuhin Festival Gstaad, PianoEspoo in Finland, Prague Spring Festival en Lille Piano Festival.
Op vierjarige leeftijd maakte Lukáš Vondráček zijn eerste publieke optreden. Als vijftienjarige maakte hij in 2002 zijn debuut met het Tsjechisch Filharmonisch Orkest en Vladimir Ashkenazy, gevolgd door een grote Amerikaanse tournee in 2003. Zijn natuurlijke en verzekerde muzikaliteit en opmerkelijke techniek hebben hem lange tijd gekenmerkt als een begaafd en volwassen musicus. Hij heeft wereldwijd erkenning gekregen door vele internationale prijzen, met name de Grand Prix op de Koningin Elisabethwedstrijd 2016 in Brussel naast eerste prijzen op de Hilton Head en San Marino International Piano Competitions en de UNISA International Piano Competition in Pretoria, Zuid-Afrika, evenals de Raymond E. Buck Jury Discretionary Award op de 2009 International Van Cliburn in Forth Worth, Texas, VS.
Lukáš Vondráček behaalde een Artist Diploma aan het New England Conservatory in Boston onder leiding van Hung-Kuan Chen en studeerde cum laude af in 2012.
